Voltron Live Action Story Details  

Suffice to say, IM not happy at all with the  details released thus far.  As a long time Voltron Fan, not only does this preliminary work into what  is to be expected for a movie so far removed from what we all grew up with; the SCRIPT doesn't include the main bad guys from the series! There is NO King Zarkon, NO Prince Lotor, and NO Haggar. It DOESN'T take place on Arus or Doom but on a POST apocalyptic Earth!  We've had enough of this type of plot from Double Dragon, the Terminator movies, Logan's Run, Mad Max movies, The Matrix Trilogy, Snake Plisken movies, Soylent Green, Judge Dredd and even Death Race 2000. 

The first ever American Anime Awards have started! Voltron Defender of the Universe has bee nominated for two categories : Best DVD Package Design and Best Long Series.

For a few weeks now, there has been some questions concerning Episode 47 from the Golion series, that many fans feel that Akira Kogane (Keith in Voltron) confesses his "love" to Princess Farla (Allura in Voltron). Since I am a fan of the whole Keith/Allura couple thing, I thought it'd be interesting to see what is actually being said in the scene after the meeting in the beginning of the episode. To familiarize yourself with the scene, you can view it here:

 Now, after reading the translation over and over again, Im thinking that we are reaching a conclusion that is far from any type of confession, but something that has to do with EARTH; that Kogane is
actually speaking about how he doesn't want what happened to EArth to happen to Altea.

But here it is . Some parts were not translated because my co-worker wouldn't understand the context or it was "mumbled" or hard to hear. Remember this is a literal or strict translation.

Anything between [ ] are what he could not understand. It could be because its referencing a place or another character, to which he's not familiar with. If there is a * next to a translation, its my
attempt at trying to make some sense out of it.

Sorry for the delay! Had a computer meltdown and I was forced to reformat and reinstall mostly every application I had. My computer is just way too old. Need to start looking for a better one.

Anyway, Im also working on a Myspace Layout for all the fans out there. Its coming along, but its going to take a bit. Myspace is a bit finicky when it comes to making sure things work out right. I hope to have it ready by the end of the month.
